 Market Report For Good Quality Cattle Only 

Due to the wet conditions not many cattle made it to town this week but what did sold into a very active and strong trade.All 51 of the 4 weight steer calves in the sale averaged 451 lbs at 137.63 and sold to a high of 156.00. All 41 of the heifer calves averaged 457 lbs at 117.10 and sold to a high of 125.50. 54 steer calves were sold in the 5 to 6 weight bracket at an average of 536 lbs at an average of 128.40 to a high of 141.50. Sold 58 cows,averaging 54.41. Many good strings of high quality yearlings and calves are being booked in for the Sept 9 Sale and were sure to have a barn full of very good cattle. Reminder...All cattle must have a RFID tag { button tag } as of July 1. Again...All cattle !!!
